       Only 50 amazing and slightly true facts about me.

1. To begin my life with the beginning of my life, I record that I was born (as I have been informed and believe) on a Friday, at twelve o'clock at night. It was remarked that the clock began to strike, and I began to cry, simultaneously. Oh! Wait! That’s another story…..
2. I lived near Philadelphia, Pa. for the first few years of my life.
3. I had a Philly accent, and now I have a slight Southern accent, but I still say words like “caw-fee” and “dawg,” to everyone’s amusement.
4. I know how to copy Morse code.
5. I rode an elephant once and dreamed I was an Indian princess.
6. I drink tea, both, hot and iced.
7. I play the clarinet.
8. I’ve never been fired from a job.
9. I’m an introvert, but that doesn’t mean I don’t like people, it means I’m comfortable with being alone.
10. My left thumb is double jointed.
11. When I was growing up I liked to read the encyclopedia.
12. I love animals, particularly dogs.
13. My favorite color is green.
14. I’ve lived and traveled all over Europe, but I’ve never been to the place I’ve always wanted to go to. 
15. I’ve always wanted to go to the UK.
16. I like ethnic food.
17. I dislike sweet potatoes, brussel sprouts, and bologna *gag*
18. Salmon is good.
19. I wish I could sing.  So does everyone else.
20. I’ve had three distinctly separate careers.  I didn’t plan on any of them.
21. I’m the youngest of three.
22. My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving.  It’s the least commercialized.
23. I once owned a red Ford Pinto.  At 63,000 miles it fell apart.
24. I’ve never owned another Ford since.
25. I love the rain.
26. I’m an Army brat.
27. I think Wuthering Heights is a sappy book about two of the most miserable people I’ve ever read about.
28. I prefer mountains to the beach.
29. I wouldn’t live in Florida if I had a choice.
30. I like riding my bike.
31. I once wanted to be a sheep rancher.
32. I’ve repelled off a tower.
33. I’ve hiked through the jungle.
34. I’ve been scuba diving in Okinawa.
35. I’m a jack of all trades and a master of none.
36. I’ve been to more funerals than weddings.
37. I tend to obsess.
38. I’m terrible at remembering names.
39. I love to draw.
40. I wanted to be an artist.  My parents didn’t think that was practical. 
41. Autumn is my favorite season. 
42. I once loved a man that wasn’t worthy of my love, and I didn’t love a man that loved me and was worthy.
43.  I like star gazing,
44. and playing scrabble,
45. and reading books,
46. and listening to music.
47. I wish I could play the piano.
48. I hate monkeys.
49. I’d rather take a walk in the woods, than walk on the beach.
50. The most amazing and awe inspiring day of my life was the day my daughter was born and I held her in my arms.
